Lian Li Reveal New Raid Enclosure and I/O Upgrades at CES 2017

While not the most exciting looking box we’ve seen at CES 2017, the EX-20C from Lian Li is a cool bit of kit regardless. The compact RAID chassis can offer up support for BOD, RAID 0, 1, and SPAN (BIG). It measures in at just 80 x 23 x 145mm, and will support 2 x 2.5″ SATA HDDs or SSDs to give you plenty of performance and storage on the go.
It comes with an internal SATA III 6Mbs interface, and a future proof USB Typc C Gen.2 external interface. The unit is powered with an AC Adapter using 12V, but it’s otherwise very portable and could be great for those who need flexible and portable storage at home, in the office, or on the go. No word on pricing but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
Another addition to the Lian Li range is the rather complex named PW-IC3DAH45, which is a front panel replacement for a wide range of Lian Li chassis, adding HDMI, as well as USB Type C inputs/outputs.
The much simpler PW-IC01NH45 is much the same, but adds a Type-C jack to the PC-011.
Front I/O updates are hardly that exciting, but if you’re fed up of not having the latest support, it’s a lot easier to replace a single component that it would be the whole chassis!
