Lian Li Reveals Roomy PC-O9 Dual-Compartment Chassis

Lian Li has just announced its new PC-09 dual-compartment PC chassis, which represents the brand’s latest addition to its O-series open-air chassis series. What makes this particular case stand out is that it comes with a dual-compartment design that involves tempered glass elements on one side as well as aluminum panels on the other. Much like the PC-08, the primary compartment on this new model features two large tempered glass panels that span the sides of the case in order to provide a clear view of the system’s most eye-catching components, namely the motherboard and the graphics card. The other compartment accommodates the drive rack and the PSU, both of which are hidden from sight by a windowless aluminum enclosure.
The inputs and the power button are located on a band that runs down the middle of the product thus separating the two compartments. It’s also worth noting that this chassis is ideal for water cooling and that it includes a total of five 120mm fans. Three of these are intake fans mounted between the compartments while the other two are exhaust fans located behind the drive cage. The glass compartment’s top panel has three extra 120mm fan mounts, and those who want to use water cooling can simply use up to two 120mm x 360mm radiators, one of which would replace the three 120mm fans while the other would be placed at the top panel in the glass compartment.
As far as space is concerned, the PC-09 dual-compartment case by Lian Lin can house VGA cards up to 420mm long, ATX PSUs up to 290mm, and CPU coolers that are up to 160mm tall. Eight expansion slots, an RGB lighting kit and controller, as well as a removable drive cage are also included. Price-wise, we can expect this product to become available in June for about $439.
