Lightning Fast and Affordable USB 3.1 Controller by Addonics

I love speed, and I’m not talking about driving really fast to work every day but about transferring large files to and from my PC in the blink of an eye. However, these kinds of speeds are only supported by USB 3.0 and 3.1 ports, which some older motherboards lack entirely. Fortunately, Addonics recently announced its incredibly fast yet affordable USB 3.1 controller that can be installed onto any motherboard with a free PCI-Express slot. The controller is suited for casual use and even for server use as it can handle impressive data rates of up to 10 Gbps. That’s basically twice the speed of USB 3.0 ports and 20 times the speed of USB 2.0.

The controller is capable of LowSpeed (1.5 Mbps), FullSpeed (12 Mbps), HighSpeed (480 Mbps) and SuperSpeed (10 Gbps and 5 Gbps) transfers. Furthermore, it can be hot swapped without a problem, which means that you won’t have to turn off your PC in order to remove it or move it to another slot. It boasts two USB 3.1 ports and can be installed on motherboards with PCIe 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 slots. As far as OS compatibility is concerned, this thing will run just fine on Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and Windows servers.

Addonics’ offering costs just $29.99, which is relatively affordable considering its outstanding performance.
