The Linksys WRT1200AC delivers best in class performance and convenience, and now UK customers can get their hands on it too. The router was first introduced at CES in Las Vegas and it’s great to see it arriving here.
It is built around the Avastar Wireless & ARMADA Processor product series from Marvell and features wireless speeds up to 1.3 Gbps and a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU. The 2×2 AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless-AC Gigabit Router also comes with a USB 3.0 port and dual USB 2.0 and eSATA port for easy connectivity of external storage devices. Another great feature is that the router is fully compatible with OpenWRT as the drivers have been incorporated into the latest image snapshot.
It comes with two adjustable and removable antennas for maximum range, and it features beamforming technology to boost the Wi-Fi signal. Every other device is getting the smart tag lately and it’s no different in the world of routers. The Linksys WRT1200AC comes with Smart Wi-Fi, a web and app-based management tool that helps users set up and manage their router from any device, including smartphones.
