Liva Mini PCs @ Computex 2015
Computex 2015: Liva is quickly becoming one of the coolest SFF computer companies in the world, offering sleek systems that looks great, offer impressive performance and a wide range of features to suit many different markets. As you can see in the pictures below, they’ve got some great looking systems with impressive specs, especially so given their tiny form factors. The feature that most caught our eye was the built-in microphone, allowing the use of the Windows 10 feature “Cortana”. These are great options for HTPC users, or for creating an advanced smart TV, but they could be just as handy in the office.
Which one would you like to have in your home of office?
Intel only. ECS is one more company with an AMD option in their roadmap that mysteriously disappears.
How about these: http://www.computerbase.de/2015-06/amd-carrizo-zotac-plant-zbox-mit-kaveri-nachfolger-fuer-ende-2015/ with AMD’s Carrizo option?

Ah thanks! Zotac is another story. They have plenty of models in that category and they use hardware from everybody, Intel, Nvidia and AMD.
On a side note, you may want to laugh at this compute “stick”: http://liliputing.com/2015/06/quanta-shows-a-core-m-compute-stick-protoype.html Just shows what happens when trying to squeeze a 4.5W Intel Core M chip inside a compute “stick”-like device (definitely will have heavy throttling to keep the heat down)…

At these sizes the only thing that can differentiate Intel from ARM sticks is a fast cpu and enough hardware to run Windows 10 with a performance that will not drive someone crazy. I would be laughing at a BayTrail with 1GB of RAM trying to run Win10. That would be hilarious. This Core M looks interesting even if it starts to throttle 5 minutes after powering it ON.
You can also check my comment here: http://www.fudzilla.com/news/mobile/37329-intel-compute-stick-comes-with-skylake-y Yes, it would make an interesting device although I think that device is still too small to be using an Intel Core M chip. Examples of how compute stick should look like, from Computex 2015 there’s ASUS’s Pen Stick with Intel’s Cherry Trail (best looking one yet): http://vr-zone.com/articles/asus-goes-after-intel-compute-stick-with-cherry-trail-based-pen-stick/93115.html and the recently launched ASUS’s Chromebit: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/asus-chromebit-specs-price,news-20727.html although runs ChromeOS only…
