Llano desktop APU prices leaked

E-tailers in America have started listing the upcoming A8-3800, A6-3600 and A6-3500 APUs giving us pricing details. The A8-3800 is a slower version of the A8-3850 coming in at 2.4GHz stock compared to 2.9GHz stock but with turbo mode it can reach 2.7GHz. The A8-3800 will list for around $150 which is pretty much what the A8-3850 (the faster equivalent) lists for, currently on Newegg the A8-3850 is $139.99.

The A6-3600 the slower equivalent of the A6-3650 will apparently list for $126 which again is around the current price of the A6-3650 which lists for $119.99 on Newegg. Whilst the A6-3500 which is an A6-3600 minus one of the cores will list for $104. So as you can see from the initial pricing it is still quite high in comparison to what these new slower units are likely to sell for. Therefore it doesn’t seem unlikely that the triple core will end up listening on Newegg for about $94.99 in the near future making it excellent value for the entry level gamer.

No “Official” launch date is set but we know it will be some time in Q3 of 2011 so by the end of September is the cut off for the release of these new APUs.
