Logitech has today revealed a new piece of kit for Sim Racing enthusiasts with its new Logitech G Playseat Challenge X designed for Logitech G Racing wheels and features a lightweight foldable design with high adjustability.
The Playseat Challenge X is Logitech’s new Sim Racing chair which has been designed for Logitech’s own racing wheel, pedals and gear shift setups. The seat offers lots of versatility and adjustability with varying degrees of adjustments to find your most comfortable position. The seat itself uses ActiFit breathable material which is body-conforming and keeps you cool during intense races. The material used is rigid and durable plus the entire kit weighs 11.6kg and can be folded up and stored away when not in use.
“There was a considerable amount of collaboration on this product to make the Challenge X more functional, comfortable and overall, a better racing experience, than traditional desktop gaming chairs. During that process our teams focused on three key areas of a sim racing chair and we couldn’t be more happy with the results.” said Jim Hoey, head of simulation marketing at Logitech G.
The PlaySeat Challenge X – Logitech G Edition comes in gunmetal grey and is available at major retailers for a suggested retail price of $299 and €299.
