This week I’ve been spending some time with the some what famous Logitech G27 racing wheel, ok it’s not actually famous, but it is extremely popular with racing fans all over the world, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and here at eTeknix, we thought you might like to know the same.
Logitech have been in the peripherals business for quite some time now, with many great products already under their belt that have won them many awards, catering for everything from general low budget office solutions to keyboards and mice, all the way up to their premium range gaming controllers such as the steering wheel were taking a look at today.
With a price tag that hovers above £200.00 this is no impulse buy gadget, this is a serious piece of gaming hardware, aimed at the racing sim market and fans of games like Gran Turismo, Need for Speed Shift 2 and Dirt 3, this wheel has got to stand up to some pretty intense driving, so come and take a look at the next few pages where I will be taking a look at just how far your money goes when you invest in a £200+ racing wheel, putting it to the test on both the Playstation 3 and on PC.
We’ve take a look at some other premium wheels here at eTeknix such as the Madcatz Official Xbox 360 Racing Wheel and the Thrustmaster T500RS, so it will be interesting to see how this one compares.
