Logitech G510 Gaming Keyboard Review

Final ThoughtsI hate trying to round up a review when the review itself has already said everything I need, as we spoke about the styling, the features and the general usability, so what more can be said? I was keen to try out the G510 because of my experiences with Logitech products as a whole, and due to having the G15 V2 and being a user of the previous G15 V1 and G11, leaving it perfect for me to compare.
Now I have to say that the G510 is an amazing keyboard in terms of usability, as it’s virtually silent compared to other keyboards on the market, and the keys feel as it you are pushing them against a soft pillow that slowly springs back. Sadly not all the keys are like that and the space bar is giving a slight clicking noise when pressed on the left side. I can only assume that Logitech would like you to press the space bar in the middle, but this is un-ergonomic and just doesn’t feel right if I try.
The addition of the extra sets of Macro keys is a handy feature, but I doubt that I’d ever get around to setting up every one, let alone ten of them but we will see.
A nice addition back to the G-Series keyboards is the volume scroller that Logitech left off in some older models, but now it’s here to stay and incorporates a lovely fluid motion and a sense of fantastic build quality.
Well it seems that I did have a bit more to say on top of all that and can only summarise by saying that the G510 will not disappoint you in any way, and is made from the best materials, with the great styling thought and build quality invested into it. If only that space bar would shut up, but I’m putting it down to my one being faulty maybe?
Pros:
- Reliable brand
- Built on a proven success
- Ability to change backlighting colour
