I’m not going to beat around the bush here, this keyboard performs exactly the same at the last model. It has basically the same design, it has the same switches as the one we last reviewed and it uses the same software. What’s really changed here as a few minor ergonomic and aesthetic pieces and while they don’t add up to a huge amount, I think they give the new model the edge. The slimmer design, the more refined wrist rest, and the smoother key caps, all combine to make the G910 more pleasant to use for long periods of time and that’s certainly not a bad thing.
As you can see, the Logitech lighting engine doesn’t disappoint at all, with great definition of the LED lighting. There’s no under glow to these switches, just from what is etched into the key cap, and I think it looks great as it gives more of a contrast against the keyboard.
The gaming profiles really stand out too, I think they look better defined at a glance than those of keyboards with under glow lighting.
