Ready to take your virtual driving experience to the next level? We’ve got the massively popular Logitech G920 Xbox One & PC Steering Wheel and Pedals combo in the eTeknix office today, and we’re eager to put it through its paces and see what it can do. The G920 is one of the higher end models from Logitech, who’ve been making some of the most popular racing wheels for the gaming market for many years now.
The G920 comes equipped with support for many of the latest racing games, and while that doesn’t mean it will only be supported by these games, they’re at least the shortlist of games that are confirmed to be fully compatible. This is marketed at the Xbox One market primarily, so that will be our main area for testings, but testing will also be performed on PC to ensure compatibility.
The G920 comes with a 900-degree rotation dual-motor force feedback wheel, allowing you to get lots of control, as well as experiencing weight shift, tire slip and more from the powerful motors. It promises excellent precision too, using helical gearing with anti-backlash, as well as magnetic sensors to monitor the position of the wheel. You’ll find a full pedal set included with the wheel, as well as paddle shifters, but you can also invest in an H-shifter from Logitech if you desire (sold separately).
