Logitech introduce the Harmony Link home entertainment control

The new Harmony Link combined with their own app allows your IOS or Android smart phone device to become “the smartest remote in the house”.

With the device set up for your home entertainment system it can replace up to eight remotes, set-up involves connecting the Harmony Link to your Wi-Fi network then browsing to www.myharmony.com add your devices to the list then sit back while the update runs (currently supporting 5000+ brands).

With the app downloaded to your tablet or smart phone activity is controlled via swipes and taps also with easy one touch reminders from the in app tv listings, the app is available from either itunes or Android Market.

Product Manager Ian Crowe walks through the product highlights in the video below.

The device due for US release in October and is priced at a reasonable $99, but at launch the Android app wont have personalized program guides.
