Logitech has rolled out the latest mechanical gaming keyboard equipped with their Romer-G switch and it is surprisingly affordable for only $89.99. The Logitech G413 keyboard uses a 100% 104-key ANSI layout (US market) with a single-color LED per-key backlighting. It is available in either G413 Silver with white LED or G413 Carbon with red LED. The feature set otherwise is the same for both models.
The Logitech G413 is compact for a full-size keyboard, measuring 132 mm tall and is 445 mm wide with a 34mm depth. The rear can be raised at an angle for convenience but otherwise, it does not come with a wrist rest since it is meant as a budget mechanical gaming option.
Surprisingly, it offers quite a bit more in terms of other features that are unavailable on mechanical gaming keyboards in a similar price range. For example, users can record macros via the Logitech Gaming Software and the G413 keyboard also features 26-key roll-over for fast paced input.
Despite the budget price, the build quality looks surprisingly very good. It also comes with extra keycaps, as well as keycap puller out of the box. It uses a USB 2.0 interface and even has a USB 2.0 pass-through available. Which is lacking in many mechanical gaming keyboards that cost $50 more than the G413’s asking price.
It is available in retail stores starting April 19 and comes with a 2-year warranty.
