Logitech To Rebrand Blue Microphones Under Logitech G

Logitech is going to be retiring the Blue Microphone branding and instead selling them under the Logitech G branding.

Logitech Killing of Blue Microphone Branding

As reported by The Verge, Logitech will be merging Blue Microphones, which it bought for $177 million back in 2018, with its Logitech G gaming brand. This merger means that the Blue branding will disappear but will continue to be used for its technologies and the Yeti naming will also continue. If you try to access the store on Blues website you will be redirected to Logitech’s website where you can see all the Blue microphones. On the other hand, Logitech has mentioned that Astro Gaming another company they bought in 2017, will be continuing and they also will be launching new Astro products in the future.

Bye Bye Blue

So this isn’t exactly bad news as you will still see the same Yeti and Snowball microphones just instead with Logitech G branding. When you think of Blue’s microphones your first thoughts are probably Yeti and Snowball so the removal of Blue likely isn’t going to affect much in terms of sales.
