Logitech has just unveiled its new full-size RGB mechanical gaming keyboard named G810 Orion Spectrum, which is equipped with the company’s exclusive Romer-G mechanical switches. These switches guarantee 25 percent faster actuation when compared to regular mechanical keyboards, which means that they are able to receive commands more quickly. This might not seem like much at a glance, but these switches can mean the difference between victory and defeat during competitive matches, and the fact that they come with a durability rating of about 70 million keystrokes definitely doesn’t hurt either.
We should also mention the product’s dedicated media controls and customizable RGB lighting as both of these features are often appreciated by gaming enthusiasts. The lighting feature can be customized using the Logitech Gaming Software, and it can be synchronized with other Logitech G gaming gear. Furthermore, the G810 Orion Spectrum also boasts a fingerprint-masking matte texture as well as a durable braided cable. The easy-access media controls allow the user to play, pause and mute music or videos while a dedicated roller can be used to control the volume.
The F1 to F12 keys can be customized to support various macros, which is always a plus. As far as pricing and availability are concerned, the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard will hit U.S. and European markets this month, and it will cost $159 and €189 respectively.
