Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, a remake of the 2012 hack-and-slash game, is gearing up for its PC release. While the game’s story remains unchanged, RePOP promises quality-of-life improvements and additional content. Players will take on the role of Juliet Starling, a cheerleader who must fight off hordes of zombies with her trusty chainsaw. The game is known for its over-the-top action, humor, and unique blend of horror and comedy. RePOP is set to launch on PC on September 25th, allowing fans to experience the definitive version of this cult classic.
The upcoming PC release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP means we now also have the system requirements. Players will need at least a 64-bit Windows 10 system with an Intel Core i5-8400 processor, 8GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. For the optimal experience, the developers recommend an Intel Core i5-10400, 16GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. Both setups require 60MB of storage space and DirectX 12. Yeah, it say’s MB in the PR, I guess they meant GB.
Minimum:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows10 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400
- Memory: 8 MB RAM …again, they likely meant GB.
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060(6GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 60 MB available space (maybe it’ll come on a few floppy discs too)
Recommended:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows10 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10400
- Memory: 16 MB RAM … lol, we know.
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX3060(8GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 60 MB available space …Gigasomething, I think.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is set to launch on PC (via Steam) on September 25th. The game is priced at $44.99, though some fans have expressed concerns about the price point considering it’s a remaster and not a full remake. Additionally, a special “Cheerleader Edition” is available for $149.99, which includes various physical and digital goodies.
