LucidSound is quickly growing into a powerful force in the gaming audio market. With a talented team picked from many of the top names in the gaming peripherals market, they’ve been steadily launching one award-winning headset after the other.
We stopped by their Booth here at CES 2017 to take a closer look at what they have to offer and we certainly left impressed. Their range includes the lightweight LS20, a stylish amplified gaming headset with multiformat support. The compact on-ear design is surprisingly comfortable, and without a doubt it’s a gorgeous looking bit of kit.
Moving up the range, we have the LS30, same aesthetics as the LS20 but now with a much larger ear cup design for over-the-ear fitting. This also allows for bigger drivers, more bass, and better long-term comfort. There’s also a detachable microphone for gaming, or leave it off and you’ve still got a great looking set of headphones.
The LS40 are the top dog here, with 7.1 surround processing and their flagship drivers. We tested them out on the Xbox One while playing StarWars Battlefront 2, and even in a noisy exhibition hall it left us in complete isolation to enjoy the game, the thumping bass and the screaming highs of the battlefield, we’re very impressed and can’t wait to try it out in the eTeknix office!
We’ll be working with LucidSound very soon, and can’t wait to bring you more information on these headsets!
