LucidSound has upgarded their LS40 gaming headset with the new LS41. This stereo headset is capable of virtual 7.1 surround via DTS:X technology. The result is highly detailed positional audio that is crafted for gaming and immersion.
The LS41 is designed to be worn outside the living room in the real world as well. Especially since it has simple and has fast access to controls. Users can answer calls, play/pause your music, change tracks and more directly via the ear cup controls.
On a single charge, the battery lasts up to 15 hours. However, the wireless headset can also connect using a 3.5mm connector. Which is handy for when you are out of charge (passive mode). LucidSound also touts universal compatibility supporting PlayStation, Xbox, PC and mobile devices.
The headset also comes with dual microphones with mic monitoring. One is designed for online chat, while another integrated microphone is designed for calls and mobile gaming. Mic-monitoring lets you hear your own voice (sidetone), so you don’t have to shout.
The LucidSound LS41 headset is now available via Amazon.com for $199 USD. It will start shipping by December 31, 2018.
Although also listed now on Amazon UK now, it is not available for pre-order yet until a later date.
