LucidSound Now Shipping LS20 Amplified Universal Gaming Headset

LucidSound had great success with their previous headset, the LS30, which launched earlier this year and now they’re back with the LS20 which broadens the company’s reach with this new sub $100 priced headset.

The LS20 features two modes, active with amplified sound and passive unpowered. It is built with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that can provide up to 20 hours of amplified sound mode. Should the battery run out, then the headset will automatically continue in passive mode. That should give the LS20 powerful and vibrant audio, ideal for experiencing every nuance of game audio while being able to clearly converse with online teammates.

The LS20 has earcup-controls, allowing gamers to instantly and intuitively access game-volume, game-mute, and mic-mute. When plugged into a smartphone, it has volume, mute, mic mute, call, and playback controls instead. Speaking of the earcups, it comes with 40mm neodymium magnet speakers, providing deep bass and clear highs.

Other features include bass-boost which enhances the low-end and that’s an ideal feature for FPS games. The built-in mic-monitoring allows players to hear their own voice through the headset. The microphone boom is also removable when you don’t need it and just want to listen to some tunes or other audio.
