Packaging

The box is made from cardboard and features a gloss design showcasing a huge picture of the mouse. The main features are scattered around including the 5600 dpi laser sensor, gaming mouse and a brief statement from leading website; Engadget.
The front of the box also acts as a flap which once opened reveals a whole host of the features. This includes the interchangeable pieces and the storage tin which houses the extra accessories. It also explains the custom length and thumb area adjustment and removable weights. This thing has more gadgets and gimmicks than my car!
The panel to the right reveals the wireless receiver details including its main feature of charging batteries and storing the added extra weights. You also get a clear view of the mouse through the transparent, plastic window.
The side of the box spits out the technical specifications of the mouse including DPI range, acceleration, tracking speed and L.E.D colours (red, blue an purple for each mode).
The back of the box gives even more features listed in detail. It talks through the 15 user-definable commands, precision aim mode, four user-definable DPI settings, fully programmable buttons for custom macros and the aluminium chassis that the mouse features for extra durability.
Every part of this packaging includes multiple languages when explaining the features and delves so far into everything that I’m not quite sure what else i can say if I’m totally honest.

When opening the packaging, you will find a cd sleeve which features more than just a disc including several manuals.
You will receive:
You will also recieve a Cyborg branded metal tin which includes various different interchangable pieces for the mouse.
This includes:
Further to this you will receive even more added accessories in the form of two batteries and the receiver.
The receiver has a few different functions including its main priority as a receiver. Well Duh! It’s other functions include the ability to charge the two included batteries (one at a time of course). You simply slot the battery in and off you go. Just above where the battery charging system is incorporated is a slot to house the weight cartridge that we found supplied in the Cyborg branded metal tin. This is more of a convenience factor more than anything else.
You will see that the receiver has a metal panel on one side revealing the Cyborg logo and R.A.T. 9 wording. The rest of the unit is made from a durable rubber like material which is perfect as it may get knocked about on your desk if yours is anything like the mess that i call mine!
The receiver includes a fairly lenghty cable which is handy for placement on your desk, on top of your tower or anywhere else you may so wish. It features a braided design, mainly for styling purposes but does add some durability to the whole design. It also features a gold plated USB connector for the best connectivity possible. Some may consider this as a gimmick but it also adds a plus point in the styling department and gives kudos to the wow factor.
