The Android gaming market is bigger than ever and this Christmas is a battleground between the GameStick, OUYA, Project Shield and now the MOJO. Sure there are even more android consoles on the market too, and that is before you get into the fact that there are endless tablets and phones out there too!
The MOJO console is available to purchase now from e-tailers and some retail stores such as Fry’s Electronics for £219.99 here in the UK and $249.99 in the US.
One thing that really stands out about the MOJO is the price, it is one of the more expensive Android consoles on the market and for good reason too, it’s one of the more powerful and feature packed devices in the area of the market. The OUYA and Gamestick for example need games porting to them before they will work, but the MOJO does not and to make it all possible it packs the latest 4.2.2 Android OS, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage as well as a MicroSD slot for a further 128GB space, 1080p output via HDMI, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
While it doesn’t support it yet, the MOJO will soon support PC game streaming much like the Nvidia Shield and upcoming SteamOS.
