Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. has announced that it is now shipping its range of Street Fighter X Tekken branded game controllers. The lineup includes the Street Fighter X Tekken FightPad SD, the Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick PRO and the flagship Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S.
“We are very excited to continue our support of the Street Fighter® franchise with a new range of FightSticks and FightPads which include many features requested by the community.” said Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. “The range further demonstrates our strategy to build innovative products for passionate consumers.”
Both the Fightsicks will take you back in time, with the same type of controllers some of you enjoyed at the arcade playing the first Street Fighter and Tekken games. Using genuine Sanwa Denshi arcade component, the unique chassis of the Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. allows you to play both as single player, or in a two with the Arcade FightStick V.S. Connector Kit (sold separately) to recreate a two-play arcade presentation. Furthermore, this controller was even nominated for the IGN ‘Best of CES’ award.
Street Fighter X Tekken FightPad SD is nothing other than a game controller, featuring a slightly different outline as its original counterpart, while still showing of its own Street Fighter X Tekken artwork. The current FightPad design also features a 15% smaller chassis than previous designs, inspired by the gaming preferences of legendary Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono.
