MadCatz Return

I have been a long-standing fan of MadCatz, as they released some of the coolest, best performing, and most unique peripherals we’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, a few bad business choices, like their Android console and the whole Rock Band flop killed them pretty hard a few years back. However, the original staff and their PR team still had the passion. They’ve banded together, revived the brand, simplified the product range, and they’re ready to part again.

Gaming Mice

Their latest RAT X3 gaming mice still have the unique look we know and love. Of course, you get a sweet bundle of quick mounting custom panels and adjustment tools. This means you can take the mouse and sculpt it to your hand, and really make it your own.

Check out that funky back panel lighting! Have you ever seen anything like it? We certainly haven’t.

Wireless Charging and Gaming Mouse Mat

CES 2018 has had a few of these, and we’re happy to see MadCatz joining the wireless charging and gaming party with the RAT AIR gaming mouse.

STRIKE Keyboards

MadCatz made some of the best membrane keyboards around. They were affordable, packed with features, and just simply cool. Their new range is pretty much the same, offering some cool lighting, aluminium chassis, and a slick white model that we can’t help but love.

Headsets

Their FREQ headset range is revised as well, with the new 2 and 4 models offering up plenty of features. You’ll find boom microphones, RGB side lights, in-line controllers, plentiful padding, and powerful drivers. You can’t really ask for much more, and if the prices are right, they should sell pretty well for them.

E.S.

Finally, they’ve got a nice little set of in-ear gaming headphones. They’ve got oversized drivers, with ported earbuds, so they’re able to pack plenty of punch and low end. Of course, you’ll find a built-in microphone, as well as support for just about any device thanks to their 3.5mm 4-pole jack.

Are you happy to see MadCatz back again?
