Major Nelson aka Larry Hryb has announced that he is leaving Xbox after 20 years as an icon of the console.
Major Nelson Leaves Xbox
Larry Hryb, mostly known as his gamertag Major Nelson, was the Director of programming for Xbox Live and often the face of many Xbox promotions and events. He announced on his social media accounts that after 20 incredible years, he will be leaving Xbox to focus on the next chapter of his career and with his time off, his family as well. Major Nelson has been a great asset to Xbox throughout most of its history very much representing the face of the console through a variety of promotions. He was also the host of the official Xbox Podcast which will be going on hiatus for the rest of Summer and is set to return with a new format later on.
The Major takes the opportunity to thank the Xbox team as well as Xbox fans worldwide. I wish Larry all the best for his future, especially after 20 years of work on some brilliant consoles.
