Maniacs Selling The Day Before Steam Keys For $400
James Cusworth / 11 months ago
I would say that the day before is the worst game of the year but calling it a game seems a little too generous considering the history and controversy surrounding it. If you haven’t been keeping up to date with the day before since it blew up in the faces of the Fntastic (The developers) you can read about that here.
Brief History Of The Day Before
The day before is one of the biggest scams in the last few years selling over 400,000 copies with fake trailers, fake reviews and other dodgy marketing. The scam only took 4 days before the company behind the game went bankrupt and ran with the money which in hindsight is kind of impressive considering how bad it was.
After the company collapsed the Discord server, YouTube, and even the CEO’s social media channels disappeared or were scrubbed and the company legged it with all the money.
$400 For The Day Before
Now it seems after the aftermath the day before, it has become something of a collector item reportedly going anywhere from about $200-$400 this was reported by a key seller aggregator GG Deals. I won’t give a link to this because A key sellers are not known to be trustworthy and B I don’t want people to spend 400 dollars for a 50-dollar scam.
For how long this will last we don’t know as the servers are still up but it was unavailable to buy on Steam just 4 days after its release.
