Mark Hadley has created a short Indie game as an experiment which has became a hit. Slender: The Eight Pages is an Indie Horror game where you must travel through the dark woods at night with one simple goal of collecting all eight pages. Eventually, you will be stalked by a faceless entity in a suit that grows more persistent and relentless every time a page is collected.
The experimental free Indie game has had a much better response compared to what Mr Hadley expected. It went very well and that has necouraged Mark Hadley to start on a sequel “Slender: The Arrival”, that is aimed to be more terrifying than the original creation.

This game is scheduled to launch on the PC for now and its developed by Parsec Products and Blue Isle Studios. Later on, it will be developed for the Mac platform but Linux is given a serious consideration. They are also considering consoles and mobiles as well, so this is going to work out nicely.
According to the official website, there will be a proper storyline for this game and more than just collecting pages. The Arrival will be an expanded version of the original game, so one will expect more levels and content.
Still, they are aware that the original Slender game was spectacular because of lack of story and detailed graphics. The game’s pricing is not yet finalized but it will cost less than $20. The game is expected to release in early 2013.
