Mark Zuckerberg the 6th richest man in the world CEO of Meta worth over $100 billion which makes him one of the very few people able to role-play Fallout 4 in real life and make himself a full luxurious doomsday bunker the size of two mansions. It’s kind of ironic that he’s making something to survive a nuclear apocalypse considering he looks like something that may be created as a result of a nuclear apocalypse…
The plans to build the bunker were first discovered by Wired which recently published an article titled Inside Mark Zuckerberg’s Top-Secret Hawaii Compound which goes into detail about the construction plans, local politics, and a swirl of NDAs and secrecy around the home.
The magazine says that Zucks plans to have his home on the Hawaiian island of Kauai where he will have a 1,400-acre compound with two mansions, not one, two! Because he’s a billionaire, not a millionaire and he wants to show it off. These two mansions will take up a space roughly the size of a football field while a separate facility will house a gym, pool, tennis court, and other luxuries. Of course, it’s not complete without a network of 11 disk-shaped treehouses.
Personally, if I had two mansions, it’d have to look something like this; if you know, you know.
It seems that Zuck is trying to take the Cayo Perico heist from GTA and now fuse it with the Doomsday heist by planning a 5,000-square-foot underground shelter connected to the mansions via a tunnel, complete with a blast door. “The door in the underground shelter will be constructed out of metal and filled in with concrete—a style common in bunkers and bomb shelters,”
To round off the video game villain theme, the bunker will feature secret entrances, elevators, soundproof walls and its own water tanks so they can drink their 3 litres a day all through the apocalypse.
