Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Update 1.212.1.0 Released
Another patch has just been released for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and it’s sorely needed. The last patch, released a week ago, attempted to address some of the biggest issues plaguing the game since its disastrous launch.

Patch 1.212.1.0
Update 1.212.1.0 will temporarily remove Anti-Lag 2 to improve stability on AMD GPUs. This comes from a statement by AMD and Nixxes, who have said they will bring it back in the future, although when that will be is anyone’s guess. NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction can now be used at native resolution and with Ultra Performance upscaling.
The patch has numerous fixes for the game’s crashing issues that could occur in the final Mysterio mission, or when closing the menu while an audio fragment is playing. It also fixes many of the game’s visual issues, such as the characters’ eyes appearing dark or flickering.
Although the patch covers a fair bit, players are sceptical about whether or not the fix will actually be a permanent solution for the game’s issues, as everything just seems to be minor changes intended to keep players satisfied until more permanent changes can be made.
