Some of you might disagree, but I think Mass Effect 2 and 3 were the best games in the series. Sure, Andromeda had the best graphics, but nothing beats the unique story of Commander Shepard and his/her crew. If you were planning to revisit these outstanding games anytime soon, you’ll be glad to know that a 4K texture pack is available for both titles. The pack comes courtesy of a modder named “CreeperLava,” who created it using textures from other modders. The collection includes work from commositore, MaryseDynasty, Ellise, ELE08, AlvaroMe, DeadMeat_357, smarteck, CDAMJC, JeanLuc761, sulezraz and ThinkBlueN7.
Concerning the second installment, the pack updates 1200 high resolution (2K, 4K) textures. However, the pack for Mass Effect 3 has 2200 high-resolution textures. Overall, the pack modifies 3400 textures, but the modders also created some new ones from scratch. After installation, you should notice improved aesthetics for various environments, squadmates, the galaxy map, quarians, geth, reapers, weapons, and armor. The differences are quite noticeable too, and they improve the gaming experience considerably. You can go ahead and download the 4K Texture Pack for Mass Effect 2 right here, while the Mass Effect 3 version can be found here.
