I’m a big fan of Cities: Skylines, it’s not perfect, but it’s the game that many of us Sim City fans felt we deserved, offering sprawling maps, and extensive customisation options, as well as mod support. Now the game is expanding yet again, as the new Mass Transit expansion is set to be released next month!
The new expansion lets your citizens travel in style, and adds a whole host of new design options for your cities. You’ll be able to introduce monorails, ferries, cable cars, blimps and more. Not only that, but new Transit Hubs allow you to link multiple transit systems together. Want your citizens to take cable car up the hill, but take the blimp for the rest of the journey? Of course you do! To take full advantage, you’ll also find new road types, bridges, and canals.
A free update will also allow you to name roads, and will also add a new traffic management system. The new expansion, however, launches on May 18th for $12.99.
