Chinese motherboard manufacturer MaxSun is announcing a new addition to their GeForce line up. The MaxSun GTX 1070 Ti JetStream 8G M1 Video Card features a custom design, featuring an even better cooling solution than the regular GTX 1070 Ti JetStream.
Although all GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards have the same clock speeds, they are all overclockable. Which is why a custom cooling solution helps push the performance beyond that limit. The GTX 1070 Ti GP104 GPU core runs at 1607MHz base and boosts up to 1683MHz by default. It also comes with 8GB of GDDR5 on a 256-bit memory bus running at 8008 MHz effective clock speeds.
On the JetStream M1, four nickel-plated copper heatpipes take heat from the GPU core. While three 90mm fans actively cool the surface and blow the hot air out. Unlike other video cards, the backplate is slightly raised to allow room for air. This results in better cooling rather than trapping heat in with other backplates.
The board itself measures 267mm long and uses a single 8-pin power connector. It has the standard DVI-D, HDMI and 3x DisplayPort connectors at the rear. The side of the shroud with the JetStream logo also has RGB LEDs.
