The Medal of Honor series was massive in the late 90’s and early 00’s. It has since been overtaken by Battlefield and Call of Duty, but they were still excellent games. Fans will no doubt be excited to hear that, for a limited time, they can get their hands on a free copy of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault.
Medal of Honor Pacific Assault is available for free via EA’s Origin. This isn’t the first time EA has offered a free game, but this is perhaps one of the biggest profile names for a little while.

EA clearly understand that people love their back catalogue. Or more accurately they love the companies before EA gobbled them up and spat them out.
While some free offers EA have made have been great, others have backfired massively.
If you sign into your Origin account you should see it pretty plainly advertised as a free download. Once you claim your download, it’s yours free, for life.
Now don’t get my wrong, it’s not a new game by a long stretch. Since it’s release in 2004 the graphics have not aged well. However, the game is still very playable and genuinely enjoyable.
When released Medal of Honor Pacific Assault received reviews ranging around the 8/10 mark. Being the 7th instalment in the series it was considered a good game. In this version, you are launching the assault on Japan, so good luck soldier, you are going to need it.
So, for those who fancy a bit of charity gaming, this might be worth a look.
