The new Medal of Honor will be subtitled Warfighter and release worldwide this October.
That’s according to the latest issue of OXM US, which confirms the EA shooter will be powered by Battlefield 3’s impressive Frostbite 2 engine. The sequel to the 2010 reboot is again being developed by Danger Close studios and follows the story of Tier 1 Operators, the mag reports.
Giving in to fan demand, multiplayer is also being developed in house at Danger Close, and not by Battlefield house DICE.
EA will release more details at the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco next month. Stay tuned.
