Megaman Legacy Collection 2 Coming Soon

The next collection of Mega Man games may be heading out soon as it appeared in a Korean Game Ratings board listing, sent out by CAPCOM to be rated in that market. In Asian markets, the Mega Man character is referred to as “Rock Man” hence the listing lists it as “Rockman Legacy Collection 2” when translated and carries a classification rating that is open to all ages. There are three Legacy collection listings on that board, which points to a PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version and the classification date was just put up recently on April 28.
The Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will combine the previously released Mega Man 7 through 10 in one package. The original collection featured the 1st Mega Man through the 6th and was available for $15 digitally and $30 for the physical version. These games were designed for older CRT TVs but they have been adapted to modern screens and higher resolution displays with full, wide and “original” viewing options. There are also online leader boards and video replay features. Although adapted to a larger screen, the sprites themselves were not redrawn like it was with the Street Fighter Turbo remaster but rather directly translated like would be if it was running on an emulator. This means the experience is faithful to the original, including all the possible glitches left intact.
There is no word yet on when the next game collection will be released, but it might show up on Asian markets soon initially before it is released worldwide.
