Meta Has Launched a $7.99 VR Subscription Service

Meta, who owns Oculus, has introduced a new VR subscription service costing $7.99 named Meta Quest+
Meta Quest+
Meta Quest+ is a new subscription costing $7.99 a month and will offer users access to two games each month. The company announced this program today and is available for Quest 2, Quest Pro and the upcoming Quest 3 and has an introductory offer of just $1 for your first month similar to the offers that Xbox Game Pass has had and that I routinely abused. For the first month, the games on offer are Pistol Whip an FPS shooter from Cloudhead Games and Pixel Ripped 1995 an arcade adventure game putting a game within a game. I’ve already compared this subscription to Xbox Game Pass but I feel like Xbox Gold’s monthly games are a more accurate comparison. Unlike GamePass, you can only play the games that you have unlocked by being a subscriber in a particular month and once you unsubscribe you no longer have access to these games which is almost exactly how Xbox Gold free games worked.
Where Can I Learn More?
Personally, I don’t think I’ll consider this subscription, plus I only have a Rift and not a Quest headset. You can get your first-month subscription for just $1 but that offer ends July 31st, visit meta.com for more information.
