SNK Playmore have just revealed that their classic Metal Slug series will be heading to steam, and that pre-orders for their glorious masterpiece Metal Slug 3, is now available on Steam for PC, with the added bonus of a 25% discount!
Metal slug 3 is the most highly praised title in the series among Metal Slug fans for its refined balance and game volume, and for good reason too. It features gorgeous 2D pixel riddled graphics and animation, as well as non-stop run and gun action that sets it apart from anything else on the market and while the game may have a few years on the clock by now, it has aged very well, it’s still every bit as fun as it once was.
In addition to the traditional arcade mode, you can select any mission you have previously cleared and play them separately in mission mode. Here you can play your favourite stages at will and train on the missions you have not mastered yet. Moreover, the Auto-fire function allows you to fire your weapons continuously by holding down the Shot button. Enjoy every pixel of Metal Slug 3 on Steam with your very own custom controls!
Connect to Steam and accomplish missions with your friends far away via Online Co-Op Play.
*Multiplayer (Online) Mode is limited to 2P Co-Op gameplay via a Friend Invite on Steam.
Leading up to Metal Slug 3’s release on Steam this February, you can pre-purchase the game starting today, at a special $5.99 bargain price for a limited time.
Thank you Metal Slug for providing us with this information.
