Microsoft Bing Makes a Huge Cock Up!

What is wrong with this picture?
Aside from being an excellent album by Andrew Gold, it’s also a genuine question. What is wrong with this picture? Well, until yesterday this was the new front page image for the Bing search engine and there’s a naughty little mistake. Unlike one of those late night TV quiz shows where we ask you a maths question with 1000 potential answers or asking how where the white cat is in the jumbled picture, there is something, very legitimately, wrong here and it’s a bit of a cock-up.
Still not spotted it? Oh alright, here’s a close-up to give you a clue.
Did that help? Well, if you’ve spotted it, firstly, you clearly have a filthy mind. Particularly so if you didn’t need a clue. If you are still hunting though, keep at it.
Still no joy? Ok, but those of a nervous disposition may wish to look away now.
Is that a penis?
Yes, like a policeman in America having an awkward moment frisking a man, that is indeed a penis. Now let’s be honest here, Microsoft Bing as a search engine frankly has enough problems. In general, no one uses Microsoft Edge and by proxy, no one searches with Bing. It is the 21st-century version of Ask Jeeves, we all know it’s there, but no one cares. This latest cock-up, however, has everyone in stitches. Bing has probably never seen this level of traffic since it launched.
Ok, not entirely fair, Bing has had its moment, albeit very brief.
Whether the penis is legitimate or not is hard to say. You wouldn’t have put it past a sneaky member of the team at Bing to have crudely photoshopped that in. I know I would have done given the opportunity. However, since it was spotted, Microsoft Bing has applied a little censorship. Spoil sports!
No point checking now because as you can clearly see above, like it has taken a dip into the cold body of water adjacent, the penis has now vanished.
In fairness, credit to Microsoft for putting it up, credit to the person/s who possibly sculpted the penis and most of all credit to the one person apparently still using Bing. You are an eagle eyed individual and we at eTeknix salute you!
Oh, and in case you were wondering about that policeman reference, here you go.
