Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 Version 22H2 will be the last version of Windows 10.

Windows 10 To Receive No More Updates

The other day Microsoft announced in a tech community blog post, that the current 22H2 version of Windows 10 will be the final version of the operating system which signals the beginning of the phasing out of the operating system. This doesn’t mean Windows 10 is dead as it is set to continue to receive security updates until October 2025 meaning you have two years to decide to use Windows 11 whether you like it or not.

I’ve been using Windows 11 for a while now with no problems other than the few quirks and missing features including the ability to align my taskbar to the left, which seemed to provoke a hostile response from people when I used it on Windows 10. Bring it back please Microsoft, I enjoy annoying people with my choices.

Within the same blog post, Microsoft also announced that the next Windows 11 LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) releases will ship in the second half of 2024 and will provide more details when they get closer to availability.
