Flight Simulator – Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France World Update Trailer

Microsoft Flight Simulator has been a benchmark for how far PCs have advanced over the last few decades, but there’s no doubting that their 2020 Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of the most incredible gaming feats ever achieved. Visually and technically, it’s far ahead of almost anything that went before it. However, since the release, they’ve been releasing updates that add even more detail to key areas. Today’s update sees Microsoft enhance France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Furthermore, they’ve released a stunning new trailer for it too!

“World Update IV: France, Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg brings improved digital elevation data and aerial imagery, high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for two of Europe’s most iconic cities; Paris and Amsterdam. Moreover, it adds three new meticulously hand-crafted airports (Megève, Nice and Rotterdam). Additionally, it brings visual and logistical improvements to 100 additional airports throughout the area.” – Xbox

More than 100 famous landmarks and points of interest have been worked on too, giving them truly stunning levels of detail for you to enjoy as you whip around them. This includes beautifully rendered cathedrals, monuments, stadiums and more.

However, I’m not a big fan of free-flying and prefer the challenges. Fortunately, this update adds two new ones; a Landing Challenge at La Salette, and a Bush Trip into the heights of the Pyrenees and the Alps.

The game will automatically update for free the next time you open up the client or the relevant store app.
