The director of Programming for Microsoft’s Xbox Live, Larry Hryb (also known as Major Nelson), has announced that Xbox will be discontinuing its glossy model to go for a matte finish.
Currently Xbox is selling two different models of Xbox, a 250GB glossy version and 4GB matte finish. Apart from the current Gears of War limited edition and Star Wars console, the glossy version of the Xbox will stop being manufactured. The process has already started and the new matte versions will be available in a few weeks.
If you are a fan of the glossy finish then, you shouldn’t wait any longer and get one before they run out.
