Microsoft To Launch 512GB Second-Gen Surface Pro

Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet claims that Microsoft will unveil higher capacity versions of its second generation Surface Pro tablets. Microsoft will unveil the second generation of Surface tablets on September 23rd but these won’t be available to buy until October 22nd.

The Surface Pro 2 is stealing the show of Microsoft’s second generation and apparently Microsoft will offer 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB versions of the second generation Surface Pro. Apparently the pricing for these will be $899, $999, $1299 and $1699 respectively.

The Surface Pro 2 isn’t fully detailed yet but we do know it will run a fourth generation “Haswell” Core Series processor from Intel allowing it to reach 7 hours battery life instead of the 4-5 on the current generation Surface Pro.

Full predicted specifications of all the second generation Microsoft tablets can be seen here with details of all upcoming Windows 8.1 tablets too.

We will bring you all the latest details as they come out on September 23rd.
