Microsoft have released a game called “Wordament” for the iPhone after it turned out to be a popular game on the Windows Phone platform. This is the first game for iOS with Xbox Achievements.
As said by Microsoft:
When you sign in with your free Microsoft account, you can earn up to 50 Gamerscore from our 10 achievements and you’ll have access to all of your Xbox Friends and Wordament Frenemies. If you’ve played on Windows Phone or Window 8 and jump to the iOS version, all of your player stats and friends will follow your account automatically.
It was sometime back where Microsoft released Xbox Live App which lets you manage Xbox Live account on your iOS devices and added a game called Kinectimals. Now that Microsoft started making games to work with iOS and integrate Xbox achievement points, it looks like Microsoft might have plans to take over the iOS gaming space.
