Microsoft Sends Out Press Invites For October 26 Event

Microsoft has sent out invitations to members of the press for an upcoming event on October 26th. Not only that, the date was officially unveiled on Twitter and caused many users to speculate what the event will entail. Microsoft’s briefing should include a few highly anticipated hardware announcements including the Surface Pro 2 or Surface Book 2. Also, it’s possible that the Surface smartphone will be revealed and this is something I’m really excited about. On another note, it’s likely that Microsoft will discuss the Windows 10 Redstone 2 update and how it improves the desktop experience as well as new features. Given the Universal Windows Platform incentive, I wouldn’t be surprised if Microsoft weighed in on the new gaming strategy and how they intend to improve the service.

Whatever the case, I cannot wait for the upcoming event and it will certainly be worth tuning into watch. Whether you’re interested in the software side or new hardware, there should be something to suit your tastes. Of course, we will be providing live coverage and an analysis of any new products or services.

What do you think will be shown at the October 26th event? While I’d love to see the Surface phone, I think it’s a little bit too early.
