In Microsoft’s traditional fashion they have released an advanced bulletin informing of the changes to be made in a patch next week on Tuesday the 10th of January. In the patch they claim there will be 6 important and 1 critical update.
There are three remote code execution patches (one critical); two information disclosures and one privilege escalation. There is also one “security feature bypass”, which is interesting, because it’s not a description seen before.
Microsoft will also use this opportunity to update its Malicious software removal tool. More details here.
