Today is a big day for Microsoft, as they prepare to present to the world their next-gen Xbox console and everything that goes with it. Microsoft are teasing the world with little bits of information, no doubt to prepare us for the show and to make sure we tune into the live stream.
The big claim that Microsoft is making is that the company has a lot of exclusive titles and surprises to announce, which is in many ways stating the obvious, but given that very few developers have actually spoken out about their next-gen Xbox games developments there are still a lot of unknowns in terms of some of the biggest franchises in the Xbox world, or of course things related to new IP’s that could launch with the new console.
Microsoft isn’t about to give it all away of course and they’ve said we’ll have to wait for E3 to get a full scope of their plans and their games, but todays live stream should serves as a good start, similar to that of what Sony did early in the year.
It’s already expected that we will see something big from EA and Call of Duty: Ghosts, but the most hotly tipped are titles like Forza, Fable, Gears of War and many other Microsoft exclusives, the ones we really want to see, who knows, perhaps we’ll even hear a little more about a new Halo?
