Microsoft wishes Linux a happy 20th Birthday

Microsoft has reportedly released a birthday video for Linux according to “The Linux Foundation” youtube channel which submitted this video:

The video takes a casual and brief overview of the fighting that has occured between Microsoft and Linux over the last 20 years. The video is concluded by wishing Linux a happy 20th Birthday and suggesting that the relationship could go from:
“Microsoft vs Linux” to “Microsoft and Linux”

This is interesting as Microsoft also notes it shouldn’t have labelled Linux as “childish” and that bickering does still exist today but there is the potential for future reconciliation and agreement. After all the fighting between each other which included Microsoft labelling Linux as a cancer it seems their may be an end in sight, some speculators are suggesting a takeover could be on the cards but that seems a while off or incredibly unrealistic given past events.
