German server specialist Microtronica has today announced a new distribution agreement across Western Europe with Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd., a worldwide leader in motherboard design and high performance server hardware.
Microtronica enriches its server portfolio with unique products provided by this innovation-driven solution manufacturer, ranging from server and workstation motherboards to various formats of rackmount systems.
“We’re excited to give our customers more choice when they obtain hardware based on various technologies such as general purpose GPUs, Intel and alternative CPU vendors, as well as storage-specific designs ranging from SMB up to data center- specific appliances.”, says Doede Douma, general manager, Microtronica EMEA. “With a broad selection of field-proven, high performance products from an industry leader, our expanded portfolio will allow us to better serve the needs of today’s cloud service providers and virtualized data centers.”
