The much-anticipated successor of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has finally been announced by Warner Bros and Monolith, and it looks like it will come out on August 25 this year. However, we also get to find out exactly what kind of PCs we’re going to need to run this game properly, as the two companies also unveiled the official PC requirements for Middle Earth: Shadow of War. Given that we are talking about an open-world game, it should come as no surprise that its requirements are a bit on the high-end side, especially since the bare minimum is going to be an Nvidia GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7950 paired with an Intel i5- 2550K at 3.4 GHz.
As for the recommended requirements, they ask for a GTX 1060/RX 480 graphics card complemented by an Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz. It’s worth noting that the requirements include DirectX 11 support in both cases, which suggests that Shadow of War will not be a DirectX 12 title. As far as operating systems are concerned, Windows 7 users will be able to run this game, but Windows 10 version 14393.102 or higher is recommended. You can have a look at a complete list of requirements for Middle Earth: Shadow of War below.
