While Minecraft may seem basic at first sight, the game is anything but. Over the years, the game has become one of the most popular games of all time, mostly due to its seemingly never-ending supply of mods, game types, creations and more. Now the Boss Update is about to add one of the most interesting customisation options the game has ever seen, albeit to the Windows 10 and Pocket versions, for now.
You’ll now have the ability to change character and entity properties on the fly, but not only that, as the new Add-Ons feature allows you to share your modifications to these objects as well as download other people’s.
The changes can be anything from run speed to explosion size, which is pretty simple to begin with. But the idea of lightening fast and extremely explosive creepers shouldn’t be taken lightly. I’m certain you’ll be able to use the tools to create a lot of unique elements and it’ll be interesting to see what people come up with.
SethBling, BlockWorks and Mindcrack are also onboard and have put together two of their own Add-Ons for this new system which will be available at the launch of the Boss Update; Alien Invasion (pictured above) and Castle Siege.
