Mionix Avior 7000 Gaming Mouse Review

Final Thoughts

Price

At £55 here in the UK and $80 in the US the Mionix Avior 7000 is very competitively priced. it’s running alongside similar specification products from brands like Steelseries and Razer, but offers performance that is either on par, or better than its nearest rivals in every respect.

Overview

As far as gaming mice go, this is a superb product that will no doubt prove popular with any gamer. It has a sensor that offers some superb customisation to find the right groove that works for you. It’s got flawless feedback and tracking and unless you starting picking away at the results with a magnifying glass you’re really not going to find anything wrong with it. The sensor alone is superb not only for this price class, but for any mouse on the market today.

The build quality is great, and the mouse feels really nice in the palm of your hand with just enough grip on each of its surfaces to keep it steady and comfortable throughout long gaming sessions, or even just for day to day usage such as browsing the web and working.

I love a good gaming mouse, but I love PC gaming so that is no big surprise, however I spend more time at the computer working and writing reviews than I do anything else, so I need a mouse that is as versatile in Photoshop and Wordpress as it is in Battlefield. The Avoir 7000 is easily one of the best all round mice I’ve used and while there are plenty of great mice around this price range I think you would be mad to not at least consider the Avior 7000 if your shopping within this price range.

Pros

  • Great overall design
  • Reliable build quality
  • Flawless sensor
  • Easy to use software
  • Highly configurable
  • Braided cable
  • Ambidextrous

Cons

  • None

“The Avior 7000 is easily one of the best gaming mice available on the market today, the price is fair and the performance is superb, it has a nice design and its comfortable to use, there really isn’t much more you could want from a peripheral.”
